Cuicocha Crater Lake in Ecuador 10,649ft (3,246 m) is an inactive caldera. There is a wonderful trail that surrounds the lake and takes approximetly 4 hours to hike. When the sky is clouded the water has a deep greyish-blue tone but when the water is exposed to sunlight the water turns bright blue!
