The full Moon had just risen above the horizon. The aircraft is Boeing 737 operated by Continental Airlines. The Tail Number is N26208 on final approach to RWY 25L at McCarran International Airport. The 'fire' coming of the right side of the moon is due to atmospheric disturbances caused by the exhaust from the jet engines. The shot was taken just east of the Sunset Viewing Area on of course, Sunset Ave. in Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada!
